Finally we have hot water!

One of our goals this summer was to go camping without the conveniences of a campground. This essentially means that we head out to a spot of woods and set up shop. We don't have electricity or running water. All of the details have been fairly easy to solve. A portable heater provides warmth and batteries run our lights. A Luggable Loo is our restroom or the woods for us boys. What I don't like is feeling dirty while camping. This has made getting a shower set up a priority. I am pleased to say that we finally have a hot shower! Our shower is run by a marine battery, a portable water heater, and a tank of propane. It provides a virtually endless hot shower provided we bring in enough water and propane. Some people may not mind being dirty and grimy for days on end while camping but I do not count myself among them. I no longer have to worry about that because we will be having a nice hot shower in the wilderness.
