Composting.

My wife brought home a book from the library entirely about composting. I will admit that there was time when reading about composting would have ranked on my list about as high as wrinkle cream reviews but times have changed. Somehow I have been swept up in the trail left behind as my wife has moved us towards a more sustainable way of life. This isn't to say I ready to out and protest deforestation but rather than I am beginning to see our world in a different light. I am starting consider the foot print we all leave on this world and what exactly I want my foot print to be. There are simple things we can do to lessen our use of natural resources and composting is one of them. I like knowing that the stuff we throw in the compost tumbler is going to be recycled into amazing material to spur growth in our garden. It is really neat to see that so little effort is require to make a big difference in what we eat and have available to eat. I think if more people could see how easy it is to make small changes that have big impact they would make the attempt. It take a couple minutes a day to sort recyclable and stuff that will compost. Our trash can is lighter when we take it to the curb and our garden is so much happier.
