A new use for the drill.

For several months my wife has been learning how to make everything imaginable from scratch. Today's project was making pasta. She found a cheap second hand pasta maker on eBay for a steal. The machine is top quality with the exception of the handle that is missing. The handle is really necessary for turning the pasta rollers. When I arrived home today she was using one of my screw drivers to turn the crank. I quickly saw a solution for this problem and went to my workshop. On returning to the kitchen I was quickly able to crank her pasta making into high gear using my Ryobi drill and a 5/16 inch screwdriver bit. We were able to crank out enough pasta for a couple of meals in a matter of minutes. The pasta was fabulous and the children loved seeing it made from scratch. We have a replacement handle on order but it might just be easier to keep cranking out the pasta with my drill.
