Another project.

Today was just one of those days that never seemed like it was going to end. There are a couple of days each month where I am required to go into work later in the morning than usual. For some reason these days just seem infinitely longer than my regular work days. When the day was finally over I can home to find a project waiting for me that I didn't need nor want to undertake. For some reason our bathroom sink had to decided to back up and the stopper was not functioning. I would love to be able to just rip the entire thing out and put in a new Hansgrohe faucet but we are not able to right now. We set a goal a month or so ago to try to repair everything before buying a replacement. When we do replace something we are only buying things that we can pay cash for. Having paid off our credit card debt after all these years makes it really important to us to live within our means. So instead of running out to buy a new faucet I am going to be spending the evening taking apart our grimy old faucet to see what is worth saving on it.
