Nearing completion...

My big winter project is almost done. My wife requested that I help he in remodeling the kitchen to make it more functional for our needs. Our needs are such that we need to be able to access our kitchen in an efficient way for cooking, canning, and baking. We preserves tons of fresh produce during the summer and fall. Having a kitchen that is modern and non-functional is less important to us than a streamlined kitchen that makes work easier. We removed all of our upper cabinetry in the kitchen and replaced it with sturdy shelves. This makes everything visible and within reach at all times. Our old double oven and drop in cook top were replaced with a single standing oven. This gave us a ton of extra space and the kitchen feel much larger. I have just a couple of things left to do and this project will be done.
