Simple living...

Over the past couple of years we have dramatically simplified our lives. We no longer have cable television service and have gotten rid of many of our electrical convenience items. This isn't to say that we are joining the Amish or anything. Although we love simple things around the home like amish dining room furniture, we are by no means ready to separate ourselves from the grid. Simple living to us means doing things for ourselves and relying on our skills as much as possible. Growing and preserving what food we can and doing things the old fashioned way. Many people think that simple living means going through the drive-through but not in our opinion. Simple living means going back to the way things were done before the complication of modern technology got in the way.
