The big night.

Last night we put the finishing touches on my son's entry in his Boy Scout troop's Pinewood Derby. We worked very hard on this year's entry and I have to say I feel pretty confident about our chances. I am sure every child entering the race has this same positive feeling and wants to win. Tomorrow night we will gather at our local mall for the big competition. Two local troops will be at the event which should offer a great deal of competition. I only hope that my son wins at least one race. He really needs all the self-confidence he can get. It would make him so proud to see his work pay off even if it is just a single race. I have promised that we will all go out afterward to celebrate no matter what the result of the race is.
