What ever happened to impressive debuts? Today every time a rookie debuts is just against a jobber. There really isn't much effort from the creative team to create a decent enough debut for the new superstars. Remember when Carlito made his debut? He trash talked John Cena and then spat in his face and later that night he won the US Title. That was an instant impact! Do you also remember when MNM made his appearance on Carlito's Cabana and beat up Rey Mysterio?
Those types of debuts just don't happen anymore. They just throw guys against random jobbers and hope for the best.
