Catching up.

One night a week I spend time catching up on my favorite television programs. I don't feel guilty in the slightest about this. I spend hours watching television alone and not a guilty thought enters my mind. I figure it is better that I spend one night a week, after my kids go to bed, watching television than to spend every night of the week doing this. My wife goes in one direction to watch her favorite programs and I head in the other. The other nights of the week we find a program that we can agree to watch together. Usually this is a documentary. When we are alone we engage in our guilty pleasures. For her that is trashy reality programs like LA Ink and for me it is cartoons. After 20 years you find a way to compromise and this happens to be ours.
