The start of the week...

This week has only just begun and I am already beginning to wonder what the rest will hold. I went into the office today and found out that the number of people leaving our work compliment is now up to five. There were two people that we knew for sure would be leaving due to retirement but the other people came as a surprised. I can't imagine what our office will be like when they are all gone. We are so overworked and carry large case loads that loosing 5 people at once is staggering. I really just want to go to bed and wake up to a fresh new day and a full compliment of co-workers in the morning. Luxury sheets are calling my name. I can feel the warmth of my electric blanket enveloping me and making everything feel just right. There is something about a decent night of sleep that can make everything seem better. I know that at some point we will once again have a normal work load and that day can't come soon enough for me. In the meantime I am going to have to figure out whether we have 5 separate going away parties or one big one for all these people. Somehow I ended up on the party committee this month.
