I was wrong...

Last winter my wife started collecting canning jars. I am not talking about a few canning jars what I am referring to is cases of canning jars. At the time my wife had never canned anything but had decided it was something she was going to try. I passed it off as a passing fancy and nothing more. You see she occasionally tries new things out and it doesn't always end up panning out. One time she decided to take up card making. She bought tons of supplies. I think the only cards she ever made were some baby shower invitations that never ended up being mailed to anyone. Over the months she ended up buying about 40 cases of canning jars. I seriously thought she was getting way ahead of herself and that she would never fill all those jars. The woman was absolutely determined and I am saying here and now that she proved me entirely wrong on this subject. Our pantry currently hold 527 jars of food that she canned almost entirely by herself. It really is a thing to behold. I estimate that she has about half a dozen jars left and I have not a doubt that she will find something to put in them before the snow comes our way.
