Not the same town...

Last week our small town was rocked by a very unusual crime. It occurred at a local outdoor recreational area that is a popular tourist spot in the area. This is the type of place where you would think there might be security cameras but unfortunately there were not. The man who committed this crime is still at large because the police only have a drawing of his image based on witness recollections. The entire situation has people rethinking many of the things that they normally do. I have to admit that this is the same place I had intended on taking my older son hiking to this weekend but I will not be doing that any time soon. Until this issue has some sort of positive resolution I will not be out in the great outdoors for a while. I hate to live that way but not knowing exactly what this guy looks like makes it hard to be looking for him.
