Cans...

I am in charge of recycling projects for my older son's scout troop. This is a huge project that our troop does throughout the year. We have cans donated to us by our local state hospital and county fair. We are talking about thousands of cans and it is a big and nasty project. What is frustrating me this year is that our troop voted to take on this project, but I am having a hard time getting them to help. Thus far only a couple of scouts have shown up to sort aside from my son and I. My hope is that this is just because we are close to the holiday season and not because everyone is having second thoughts about helping. It will take us forever to get them all sorted at this rate.
