Harvest...

We have a peach tree in our backyard that was planted just three short years ago. When we planted it I had serious doubts that it would live or ever bare fruit. It was just a stick and nothing more. I have to say that after this year's harvest I won't doubt the potential harvest of anything we plant in the future. This young tree was able to produce over 80 pounds of fruit for my family. This is wonderful because peaches in our area are about sixty dollars a bushel. That means that this little tree produced fruit with a market value of around ninety dollars which is incredible. I know as the tree gets older it will bare even more fruit which is wonderful.
