Not Listening...

My father-in-law is currently going through radiation treatment for cancer. He is dealing with some other serious health problems at the same time and his health is failing. One of the major problems is that he won't listen to the recommendations of his doctor. He thinks he knows more than his doctor and tries to treat things in his own way. Recently he got a nasty infection in his legs because of his improper care of himself. We really don't want to plan a funeral and wish he would listen to his healthcare provider. It is so frustrating to see someone just throw their health away because of they are stubborn. My hope is that his doctor will be able to talk some sense into him before he gets any worse.
