Nearing completion...

Last fall we started a very big gardening project. This consisted of clearing a plot of land at my in-laws house and creating a garden from scratch. The area we cleared was heavily vegetated with burdock and other invasive plants. Initially we cut each plant down by hand and then started the processing of working the soil. Since that time we have had to till the soil multiple times to clear the land. Last week we installed fence around 3/4 of the garden. This weekend we will install the final part of the fence as well as some electric fence. Their property is in a rural location which means we will be battling deer and other critters. Hopefully all the work will pan out and we will get a decent harvest this year.
