How do they manage?

Some friends of ours recently became the parents of twins. They already had two children prior to the birth of the twins. Their older children are both under the age of five which means they have their hands very full. I ran into them on the street this week and was amazed at how effortless they made managing all those little people seem. One of them was pushing a City Mini GT double stroller and the other was holding the two older children by the hands. No one seemed stressed in the slightest. I remember trying to get one baby out the door and it always seemed like a circus act. I really believe that some people are meant to be the parents of a bunch of kids and then there are those of us who do best with just one or two at a time.
