Learning to golf...

For some reason my older son has suddenly taken an interest in golf. He is almost thirteen and has never shown an interest in any sport. Last week he took an old set of golf clubs we had been given out of the garage and has not put them down since. He doesn't care that the golf bag is bright green and in serious need of leather restoration or that the clubs needs a good cleaning. All he cares about is standing in the back yard and hitting golf balls. What is really interesting is that he seems to really want to learn as much as he can about the sport. I told him that this weekend we could go to a driving range where he could really test out his swing. In the yard he has to restrain himself because there are so many houses around us.
