Living it up...

 A few weeks ago I reconnected with my best friend from high school. It has been about 10 years since we last spent any time together. At that point in our lives neither of us had children and we were free to live it up whenever we got together. The last time we went out on the town the night involved playing pool and smoking cao cigars until all hours of the night. This time when we got together the evening involved coffee and a discussion of our families. I realized that I didn't miss being out on the town half as much as I missed spending time with my friend. It is actually nice to be at a different stage in life and still be able to have something in common.
