At work I frequently chat with my colleagues about the things my wife is working on at home. I never realized what it must sound like from someone else's point of view. One of my co-workers was listening to a conversation I was having with another co-worker and interrupted our conversation to ask if my wife ever simply does nothing. I didn't really consider this until asked but it has since occurred to me that my wife is always in motion. She is always doing something productive in some way shape or form. People on the outside might think that as a stay-at-home mother that she is simply reading a book all day or playing with the kids. The truth is that she is either home schooling the children or working on a project constantly. This isn't because I have expectations of her to do this but is rather a statement of who she is and how she goes about living life.
