Being gone is good...

Having four days off from work was a real joy. I rarely take time off which makes it really weird when I return to work. A couple of months ago I was given a new supervisor at work and it has been a surprisingly good experience. I had heard rough things about various supervisors in our office and don't welcome change. I like to stick with what I know. When I used to take time off no one picked up my work load no matter how much time I took off. This time when I returned I found out that my supervisor had worked on my case load which was totally unexpected. It was nice to return to work and not be behind because I used vacation time. Many people in my office don't take vacation time for this very reason.
