First camping trip...

We just booked the dates for our first camping trip of the season. Normally by this time of the year we have already been camping. This spring has been so wet that any plans for camping we might have had were washed away. Now that it seems to be drying up a bit we can begin to plan a trip. There is much to be done in advance of our trip such as tracking down our aaa rechargeable batteries, camp stove, and camp chairs. It is funny how things become misplaced at the end of the camping season each year despite our best efforts to keep them organized. I know it will all be worth the hassle when we are sitting around that first camp fire roasting marshmallows. Going camping is actually a great deal of work but it is so worth it to listen to my children talk about how fun it is to camp.
