Flooding.

For the last few days we have had much warmer temperatures that in previous weeks. The temperature has been in the high 40's for the last three days. The combination of the warm weather and the mountains of snow have created a real mess in our area. Everything is either in the process of flooding or is already under a great deal of water. I can only imagine how much work the commercial pumps in our area are doing right now to divert the water. On New Year's day while traveling to my in-laws we saw road crews out working to grade the side of the road to change the flow of the water. You know the situation is bad when you see people working on a holiday. The temperature is supposed to drop dramatically tonight which should slow things down a bit.
