No math today...
We have learned that having our children in cyber school can sometimes pose unique challenges. Power outages mean that we cannot log into which can impact our attendance record. Other issues we have to be aware of relate to keeping our computer network and document management software always up to date. My children submit their homework via the internet. This means that we typically do not have a hard copy of their assignments because they type just about everything. The assignments they do hand write have to be scanned and converted various types of documents. Having a couple of students means that we have a bountiful supply of documents to keep track of. I have learned that home schooling is not without its fair share of distractions that you won't find in a brick and mortar school. You don't deal with access to a television in traditional school. No one begs for a cartoon break in public school.
