Not finding much this week.

You might be aware that my newest hobby is metal detecting. I recently bought a top of the line metal detector and have been putting it into use often. The first couple of times I went out were pretty productive. On one hunt we found an 1899 silver dollar and several other older coins. This week has not been quite as productive and only netted me about a dollar in current coins. I need to spend some time researching areas in the community that might hold more treasure than the ones that I have been hitting. My suspicion is that where I have been going has already been searched multiple times by other treasure seekers. I have looked into searching the grounds at our local state hospital and have been given the go ahead. I just need to find the time to go and plan out a search plan. The hospital is pretty old and the chances are good that I will find some really old coins if I choose the right spot to look.
