Countertops...

The final phase of our kitchen remodel is in now in progress. Yesterday we installed our new sink. Actually the sink is not new but is a vintage cast iron sink complete with drainboard. My wife has been planning our kitchen with a vintage kitchen look in mind. When we found this sink in the woods near an abandoned camp she knew that it was perfect for our kitchen. She has a knack for seeing the potential in things. Cleaning up the sink took a bit of elbow grease but the end product is amazing. With the sink and faucet installed the only thing left to do is the concrete skim coat on the countertops. It is finally all coming together.
