Tired...

This weekend my father-in-law went hunting during the senior hunt in our state. To our great surprise he bagged a deer. We received a call at about 6 pm to come help him with the deer. I have never participated in the skinning or processing of any animal. All of my meat has come from the store. I really wasn't sure I could help him with the process but as it turned out I was absolutely fine. We skinned an quartered the deer, and I brought it home for final processing at home. As it turns out I was able to process the rest of the deer myself without an issue. We then canned the venison with beef broth and it tastes amazing. My family couldn't tell the difference between it an deer meat.
