Depressed doggy...

Our oldest son has been away at camp for about 6 days. He has a miniature schnauzer named "Sammy". She loves her owner endlessly and gets very upset when he is out of sight. Since his departure I swear the dog has become depressed. She has been lying next to the door almost all day as if she expects him to walk through it any minute. He will be home tomorrow night and I am quite sure that this little dog is going to be beyond excited. Every time she hears a voice outside she is beside herself with anticipation. Whoever believes animals don't have feelings has obviously never owned a pet.
