Finally!

I interviewed for a position with another department, of the agency that I work for, about six weeks ago. I had all but given up on hearing back from them given the length of time since the interview. This morning I received a call from the director of this department offering me the position. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am. The job I currently hold is a thankless and miserable job where we are never caught up on our caseload and are always pressed to do more. I honestly believe that no other position could be as miserable as mine and anything will be a move forward. The job is a lateral move but a move nonetheless.
