Windy day...

Today has to be one of the windiest days I can remember in the last several months. The temperature has dropped significantly and the wind is blowing like mad. My oldest son who is quite oblivious to the weather even commented on the state of affairs outdoors. It really feels like winter is just around the corner. There is a huge tree that butts up against our property line and is quite near our house. Whenever the wind blows like this I can help but worry as to whether that old tree will withstand the storm. I would love to see the neighbors trim it back a bit but I doubt that will ever happen. Until it does I will keep one eye peeled towards the backyard.
