Building fences...

I spent the better portion of this weekend building a fence for my father-in-law. He decided this summer to put in an orchard on his property. Since planting several trees he has been plagued by deer damage. He asked me to come help with the construction of a fence around the orchard. I really wish I had remember to take something along with me like some persol sunglasses because this weekend ended up being insanely hot! It took us 4 hours just to get the posts in the ground for the fence. I ended up getting sunburned which is really odd for this time of year in this part of the country. I am hoping that we will be able to complete the fence project this weekend before the deer completely demolish his orchard. It would be really nice to see his trees prosper and to know that I had a hand in creating the orchard.
