Complainers

I work in an office with about 25 women and a couple of men. This makes for an interesting dynamic. It seems like the women in my office know everything that is going to happen before it happens and automatically form a collective opinion on that topic. Last week we heard that we were getting new scanners for our cubicles. Apparently the word on the street was that the scanners would be huge and that they would take up precious desk space. For the last week all I have heard is complaints about these unseen scanners. Today we received them and much to the surprise of the office they are much smaller than our previous scanners. It is actually pretty funny to think about all the complaining that had taken place based strictly on office gossip. What a waste of time!
