Biking to work.

In a couple of weeks we will be returning our lease vehicle that we have had for the last year. The lease was for only one year and while driving the car was fun it is not something I would want to keep. The car is a Nissan Cube and attracts a ton of attention. The thing about it is that I have never felt particularly safe in it. It handles terribly in the snow and always feels like people are on your back bumper. We have decided to just keep a single vehicle for the time being and see how we fair with that. I am planning on biking to work since it is only a couple of miles. Given that gas prices are going to keep going higher this seems like a financially sound plan right now. We will be saving on not only gas but also the cost of insurance and paying for a second vehicle. I am very lucky to have a great bike trail that runs from near my home to my office which make the trip very safe.
