We are not keeping bees!

There are many projects that my wife talks about taking on that seem logical to me and others that are just plain illogical. Lately she has been talking a great deal about bee keeping. I just can't get behind the idea because in my heart I know the responsibility of taking care of them would fall on me. The only upside I could see to keeping bees would be the honey. The reality is that we would never get any honey because I would be spending most of my time running away from the bees. I suppose the upside to that is that I would burn belly fat fast from all the running. I just plain don't like bees. I understand that they are in danger right now and need all the help they can get but I just can't see myself keeping them. We are going to try Mason bee houses because they don't sting but I am not open to honey bees at this point.
