I don't get it.

If I haven't told you before I work in an office environment with predominantly women. This can lead to some pretty interesting conversations. I always find it intriguing that women will collectively talk about subjects that men would never discuss. Furthermore if we did discuss them in the presence of a woman it would likely be considered inappropriate. I have learned more about yearly female anatomy exams and Christian Louboutin footwear than I ever wanted to know. These women do nothing but shop and go to parties where they do even more shopping. I know of at least half a dozen women who spend a fair portion of the day online at work shopping and talking to one another about their shopping. It kind of gets to me that there is indeed a double standard between men and women depending on the work environment. If the situations were reversed and a bunch of guys were standing around talking about their anatomies would it still be acceptable? I seriously doubt it. I also doubt that I could get away with spending half the day shopping for golf clubs online without getting in trouble.
