Robots

It is no secret to anyone who knows our family that we have a son who is very much into robots. His fascination with them started when he was a toddler and has not lessened any over the years. Now he is intent on building a robot of his own. His ease in using the internet has only brought him closer this his goal. Online you can find endless information on building robots. Just the other night he found plans to build a robotic cockroach for around $10.00. He keeps bugging me to take him out shopping for toggle switches and other electronics supplies. I am on the wall about starting these projects because once we build one I just know there will be others that will follow. As much as I want to support his interests it is hard when he is unable to supply any of the funds to purchase supplies. I am thinking that he is going to have to earn the money for supplies. This just might put in perspective the things he wants to do versus the other things in life.
