Match of opportunity

Wrestling is a tough business to get into and succeed at. Throw in an on-going relationship and it's damn near impossible to sustain. Wrestlers dating valets seems to be a more common thing as women have been pushed into the spotlight in just about every fed. Couples like Jackie Gayda and Charlie Hass met while they were in the business and got married in the business while they were already married to the business. I have to wonder what that courtship was like when you are on the road 300 days out of a year. Did he have a bachelor party? Did anyone have a shower for her and send out bridal shower invitations to her friends? The history of this business shows that these matches seem to be made more out of convenience rather than a true sense of commitment. I guess, like other relationships, time will be the only test.
