No rest for the weary.

Last summer I spent a fair amount of time redoing our front porch. Most of this job entailed screening in the porch and putting down a new floor. What is killing me about this is that I never really got to enjoy our new porch because we are now putting the house on the market. As I packed up our patio furniture to take it away to storage the only thing I could think about was all those summer evenings that I would never get to spend sitting out enjoying life and relaxing. I can only hope our next house in the type of condition that I won't spend every minute fixing something or rebuilding it.
