WWE Divas ~ What happened?

I miss the old divas from the attitude era.

It’s all about diva search girls who don't know that much about wrestling who are getting contract. I mean there used to be people that worked indy shows then moved up to the WWE. Now it’s like the flipped open a magazine and picked a person. Some of the girls don't even try. They just are there for T&A. I miss women like Trish Stratus, Lita, Chyna, and Tori (not Torrie Wilson) Women who used to fight. I mean there are women now who can fight like Melina, Victoria, Mickie, Jillian, Trinity and Ariel but they are hardly ever given descent matches. There are very few of the diva search girls that have lasted only Candice Michelle and Maria. Candice Michelle has actually really improved she can actually wrestle a match and not look horrible or hurt herself or others and Maria can even do some moves. Ashley Massaro is now being given a huge push and the only accolade she has is posing for PLAYBOY. I really don't think you deserve a womans championship for that. I feel like Ashley Massaro is being shoved in our faces as the new leader of the women’s division as a cross between Lita and Trish. She has to be carried in every single match and it’s so visible it’s sad. If the title falls to her it will tarnish the title to all the women who have won the title that deserved it.
