A Diamond in a lot of rough

As with most things that suck, you can usually find something that stands out from the rest of the suckiness. Case in point is CM Punk who is currently trapped in the wrestling purgatory called ECW or re-packaged WWE rejects and has-beens. Go to Youtube and you can see some of his early matches with IWA Mid-South or some of his more recent stuff with ROH or TNA. His matches with the likes of Chris Hero, Raven, and Samoa Joe are classics. He has the ability to put just about anyone over and bring up other wrestlers performances to new levels. His promos are classic and result in crowds rioting or falling over with laughter as in his last match with IWA against Delirious. Now you would think that after his big push in Ohio Valley and his really good feud with Brent Albright that WWE would do the same when they brought him up. The reduction of his move set was predictable ,at least they let him keep the Anaconda Vice, but to not put him on RAW or Smackdown is just wrong. A fued with the likes of Chris Benoit would be a perfect way to put him over and his "schtick" and mic skills would not have to change. But for now he must Toil, hey isn't that the name of another great blog to visit, in ECW wherer his straight edge gets more and more dulled.
